Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill are returning for more dinosaur adventures in the upcoming film Jurassic World 3.
Director Colin Trevorrow announced the major cast update at a Collider-hosted screening of Jurassic World in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Collider reported. The Jurassic Park trio will reprise their roles in Jurassic World 3, so fans will get to see Dr. Ellie Sattler, Dr. Ian Malcolm, and Dr. Alan Grant reunite on the big screen again, Variety noted.

There are limited plot details on Jurassic World 3, but Trevorrow will direct and co-write the film’s screenplay with Emily Carmichael (Pacific Rim Uprising and The Adventures of Ledo and Ix).
Last week, Trevorrow released a short movie called Battle at Big Rock, which takes place 12 months after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and shows a world where dinosaurs and humans have to live together. Even though Battle at Big Rock shows a T-Rex crashing a campground and almost ruining a family’s fun night, it’s unclear if it is setting up what’s to come for Jurassic World 3.
Jurassic World 3, which stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt, is set to premiere in U.S. theaters on June 11, 2021.
