
New York Comic Con is here and amid all the cool cosplay and celebrity panels, there is one more reason fans come back to the pop culture convention each year — the trailers.
From October 3 to 6, attendees will get the latest updates on anime, comics, video games, and entertainment. Over the next few days, Netflix, HBO, and more notable outlets are teasing footage for films, series, and more.
Here are all the top movie and TV trailers from NYCC 2019 that you don’t want to miss.
Servant
A baby with cute leg rolls couldn’t be creepy, right? Well, think again: Apple TV+ is debuting Servant, an eerie series executive produced by M. Night Shyamalan, on November 28. It follows a Philadelphia couple in mourning, as a mysterious force enters their home and disrupts their relationship.
Human Resources
Big Mouth won the hearts of many, and now, Netflix is launching another raunchy animated comedy called Human Resources. The series, which appears to take place in a fantasy world, is coming to the streaming service soon.
The King’s Man
The first independent intelligence agency goes to war with the world’s worst baddies in the thrilling movie The King’s Man. The movie, which stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, and Rhys Ifans, premieres in theaters this February.
1917
Two young British soldiers are tasked to prevent a World War I massacre in the film 1917, which is hitting theaters in December. Schofield (George MacKay) and Blake (Game of Thrones’ Dean-Charles Chapman) embark on a life-threatening mission to deliver a critical message before time runs out.
His Dark Materials
Lyra Belacqua travels to parallel universes in HBO’s chilling fantasy series His Dark Materials. Along the way, she’ll use an alethiometer, an advanced truth-telling device, to help find her missing friend.
