Some things really make life worth living. And this collaboration is one of them.
Build-A-Bear Workshop and BBC Studios have launched a Doctor Who range of stuffed animals and accessories inspired by the sci-fi series.
The branded bear, with its glossy eyes and coy smile, features TARDIS-pattern paw pads and a proprietary pair of hearts on its chest.
Complete your furry Time Lord look with a Tenth Doctor costume (complete with 3D glasses) or Thirteenth Doctor outfit. Plush versions of each sonic screwdriver comes with an elastic handle for easy portability.
A deluxe gift set comes with your own bear-sized TARDIS and all the character’s accoutrements. (Yes, even the Tenth Doctor’s famous red canvas high-tops.)
“We’re excited to be partnering with Build-A-Bear to create a collection that will appeal to fans of the show both young and old,” Julie Kekwick, senior licensing manager at BBC Studios, said in a September statement, when the collaboration was announced.
Unfortunately, the in-store pomp and circumstance of building your own bear is lost on this range—available exclusively online, first in the UK and coming soon to the US.
The base bear sells for £21.50 ($27.85); accessories range from £5.50 to £16.50.
Get your weekly fix of Doctor Who Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on BBC America.
