Coca-Cola Doesn’t Need the Force To Illuminate These Lightsabers

Which side are you on? (via Coca-Cola Singapore)

In just two weeks, Star Wars‘ decade-spanning “Skywalker saga” comes to an end.

But Jedis can relive the epic battle of light-versus-dark with Coca-Cola’s new illuminated bottles.

Use the force (er, your finger) to activate the glowing lightsaber on special-edition sugar-free Coke containers.

The bottles come in two designs—Rey’s Ashla blue or Kylo Ren’s Bogan red (sound effects not included). You’ll have to ration your energy-sword spending, though: Each wrapper lights up only about 500 times.

Run time also depends on storage and shipping, as well as other external environmental factors, according to Mothership.

Don’t start saving your pennies just yet, though. There’s a catch. Well, multiple catches.

Only 8,000 of these limited-issue bottles are available—and you’ll have to scour Singapore for one.

For the next three weekends (leading up to the global launch of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on Dec. 20), fans can participate in a “Galactic Hunt” for the plastic carafes, hidden in 45 secret locations across the Asian country.

At 10 p.m. the night before each activation, five riddles will be released via Coca-Cola Singapore’s Facebook, Instagram, and official campaign pages. Solve each riddle to find the location of a gatekeeper doling out special passes.

Use that golden ticket to purchase a lighted bottle at select 7-Eleven outlets by 9 p.m. on the same day.

The convenience store is also holding a “Full Force No Sugar” contest where participants can win Star Wars merchandise like drawstring bags, rolltop backpacks, lunch bags, and Royal Selangor R2-D2 pewter figures (worth $200).

Just pick up a 500ml bottle of Coca-Cola No Sugar from any 7-Eleven and submit your proof of purchase online.

May the Force be with you.
