What would you do if you were looking for your razor or face cleanser and suddenly discovered a deadly snake lounging in your loo?
This situation actually happened to a person in Australia, who came across an eastern brown snake relaxing in their bathroom vanity, Fox News reported. Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers thankfully came to the rescue and their pictures of the reptile will give you chills.
“Wowzers!! You would definitely not be expecting this when you open the top drawer in your bathroom. This cheeky little brown snake had found himself a nice little hiding spot,” Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers wrote in a Facebook post.
The tiny eastern brown snake was removed from the space and relocated by a Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers employee. No one was hurt during the encounter.
“Thanks to Donnie for heading out and relocating this guy! What a surprise,” Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers added. “It just goes to show that snakes can basically hide anywhere!”
The eastern brown snake (Pseudonaja textilis) inhabits areas of eastern Australia and it’s responsible for the most snakebite deaths in the nation, according to Australian Reptile Park. It like to eat small mammals and you can find it in open grasslands or pastures.
