While we get ready for the PlayStation 5 next year, the PlayStation 4 sure is going out with a bang. As Sony celebrates 25 years of the PlayStation platform, the PlayStation 4 became the fastest console to reach 100 million in sales. And it has amassed a pretty great library of games along the way.
But who cares about any of that. Today the PS4 reached its true crowning achievement. It’s the most popular video game console for porn.
As part of its annual survey, Pornhub released some interesting factoids about users enjoy its service. People still love them some Overwatch porn (arguably more than they love the game itself). And it looks like Apex Legends was smart to ape that horny character design format based on Pornhub’s stats.
But as for which gaming console gets the most Pornhub use, the PlayStation 4 is the big winner. 51.5 percent, just over half of all game console traffic, comes from PlayStation 4. The Xbox One follows with 34.7 percent. At first we just figured this reflected sheer numbers and tech realities. The PlayStation 4 has the advantage of course because there are just way more of them out there. And the similarly popular Nintendo Switch doesn’t have a web browser so it can’t access Pornhub at all. However, the extremely dead Sony handheld the PlayStation Vita somehow comes in third with 9.1 percent. So maybe there just is something special about porn and PlayStation.
