Google has dropped more than 1,000 new wallpaper-worthy images of our planet into the Earth View Gallery.

High-resolution photos featuring some of the world’s most beautiful landscapes (as seen from space) are now available to download.

“As a species, we’ve only had access to views from space for the last 50 years,” Google Earth product manager Gopal Shah wrote in a blog post. “Yet something encoded in us long ago seems to wake up when we see the world at this unprecedented scale.”

Born 10 years ago out of curiosity—and a Google Earth screenshot of San Francisco’s Salt Ponds—Earth View has grown into a bonafide sensation, its imagery seen by millions the world over.

The 2,500-strong collection serves as screensavers for Chromecast and Google Home, as headlined an interactive exhibit in Google Earth’s Voyager. It was even displayed on the world’s largest billboard in an effort to bring a bit of zen to New York’s hectic Times Square during the holidays.

Now it’s bigger and better than ever, presenting more locations around the globe optimized for today’s high-definition screens: you’ll see brighter colors, sharper images, and resolutions up to 4K.

All new imagery is available in the Earth View Gallery and Earth View Chrome extension. The gallery also includes a color map to help visualize thousands of locations and find a landscape featuring your favorite hue.

“Earth View has the power to elevate our minds from our tiny screens to outer space,” Shah said. “The landscapes that materialize when you open a new tab or unlock your phone punctuate your day with a global looking glass.”
