Margot Robbie returns to the big screen for her second go as Harley Quinn, surprisingly one of DC’s highest-profile female characters. Suicide Squad was a disappointment, but most people agreed that Robbie was one of the high points. Now freed from Jared Leto’s unsettling Joker and helming up an all-female crew, Birds Of Prey is looking pretty solid. Pay some tribute to DC’s femme fatales with our picks of the best toys on the market.
Mezco Deluxe Harley Quinn Figure
If you’ve got the budget for just one Harley, this is going to be the one you pick. Mezco’s One:12 Collective is definitely the top of the line for figures at this scale, packing an absurd amount of articulation and detailing into a six-inch figure. Their deluxe edition comes with tons of extra pieces and accessories, including three heads, two with the classic jester’s cap and one without, eight interchangeable hands, and loads of weapons from a pop gun and her trademark mallet to a huge rocket launcher. Harley also has a little Joker doll to cuddle when she finally falls asleep, exhausted from causing mayhem.

Mattel Barbie Famous Friends Black Canary
One of the most dependable members of the Birds of Prey – a titular Bird, in fact – is Dinah Lance, the Black Canary. Gifted with the power to emit a hypersonic scream that can stun and disorient foes and in some versions shatter objects, she’s been around in multiple different variations for years. Apparently she also hangs out with the most famous fashion doll of all time, as Mattel released a 2008 Canary in their “Famous Friends” line. Her fishnet stockings and black leather are very comic-accurate, and when the toy came out U.K. conservative group Christian Voices protested it.

Funko Mini Mystery Birds Of Prey Set
We’re obviously all about the gachapon lifestyle here at Geek HQ, but sometimes you don’t want to play the game in order to complete your set. Thankfully, you can buy a case of Funko Mystery Minis for the new Birds of Prey movie in one batch, to save you from getting vending machine wrist. The dozen figures in the set include five Harleys in various guises, along with the supporting human cast and Harley’s pet beaver and hyena. Each one stands around two inches tall.

Harley Quinn PVC Figure
There’s a lot to be said about the overall aesthetic of Suicide Squad, but Margot Robbie took a rough set of choices and did her absolute best to make them into a three-dimensional character. It’s obvious that DC decided to pull back a little bit from the “sexy Juggalo” look for the new movie, but if you have a soft spot for it this PVC figure based on a sculpt by artist Rocco Tartamella will fit in great on your shelf. Harley stands nine inches tall and is painted with an almost absurd amount of movie-accurate detail.

Roman Sionis Funko Pop
You can’t have a movie without some bad guys, and Birds of Prey is dipping into Batman’s rogues for its antagonists. Roman Sionis is the crime boss more commonly known as Black Mask, the narcissistic, torture-loving crime lord who was friends with Bruce Wayne as a child. Neglected by his parents, Roman grew up into a stone cold psychopath who drove their cosmetics company into the ground and then adopted a costumed identity to unite the gangs of Gotham under his iron fist. Ewan McGregor plays him in the movie, and now you can morph him into Funko form.

Huntress Statue
Helena Bertinelli has been through a flabbergasting number of costume changes in her career as a member of Batman’s extended family, with some of the looks landing better than others. Superstar artist Joelle Jones did the design for this statue, which taps into one of her more modest but dynamic looks. In Birds of Prey the movie, Helena isn’t terribly different from other incarnations we’ve seen – she’s still a driven, morally uncertain vigilante who packs a crossbow and uses it to ventilate the bad guys – but actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead definitely isn’t wearing anything like this.

DC Direct Batgirl Figure
Of all the comics characters that underwent some changes for Birds of Prey, Cassandra Cain might be the most altered. We’re not going to spoil the flick any more than necessary, but if you were expecting her to be a mute, illiterate girl trained from birth by her father to be the world’s greatest assassin, that’s not what you’re getting. That’s OK, though, because there are plenty of great comics and toys that celebrate that version of the character. Case in point: this DC Direct figure, which delivers a sleek, dramatic sculpt with multiple points of articulation.

Victor Zsasz Figure
The other foe in Birds of Prey is the sociopathic Victor Zsasz, a serial killer who cuts a new tally mark into his skin for every victim he claims. In the flick, he’s the top enforcer for Sionis, sent to retrieve a diamond from a young thief no matter who gets in the way. It’s an interesting spin on the character, who has previously been in business for himself and his own sick desires more than anything, but we’ll see if it works. Since there aren’t any movie toys based on the character yet, make do with this take based on Anthony Carrigan from Gotham.

Black Canary Funko Pop
Dinah’s appearance in the new movie dispenses with her superheroic aspirations but manages to hew closely to what makes the character cool. She’s a nightclub singer working in Black Mask’s establishment who happens to be a pretty gifted ass-kicker. When Harley Quinn falls into her life, the pair form an unlikely bond. We’re not going to spoil what’s going on behind the scenes, but this Funko Pop depicts our Canary, baseball bat in hand, ready to lay a glorious smackdown on a bunch of bad, bad men.

Batgirl & Oracle Figure Pack
Even though Barbara Gordon is not in the new movie, there’s no way in hell we’re letting a Birds of Prey roundup go by without shouting out the character who was the beating heart of the original team. After being paralyzed by the Joker, Barbara Gordon found a new way to fight crime as Oracle, the hyper-connected information hub for Gotham City and eventually the entire DC Universe. Her ability to process information and make connections gave the team a leg up in their many conflicts. This figure set comes with two Barbaras – one in full Batgirl regalia and one in her wheelchair as Oracle.

DC Gallery Harley Quinn Statue
One of the overriding themes of Birds of Prey is Harley extricating herself from the toxic relationship she has with the Joker and becoming her own person. That’s been key to her success in comics in recent years, too – there’s only so many stories you can tell with her as an obsessed fangirl. She was born to be the free-thinking agent of chaos, and we’re pretty psyched that movie audiences are going to enjoy that on full blast. Celebrate our Harley with this detailed new statue that depicts her in an outfit from the film, ready to bash heads on the roller rink.
