What if you could have the ultimate smart home setup, right in your kitchen?
GE Appliances’ Kitchen Hub, a high-tech system that lets you run your smart home, cook like a pro, and stream Netflix at the same time, was recently unveiled at CES and it’s the meal prep of the future.

Kitchen Hub, which consists of a 27-inch integrated smart-touch screen, a 1.9 cubic foot microwave, and ventilation combo, can easily be placed above your range. The aim of Kitchen Hub is to provide a connected experience while you whip up breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between.
Unlike last year’s version, the new model (shown above) will include a built-in microwave and upgraded smart home features. There are also three cameras—one over the range, one for chats, and another inside the microwave. According to GE Appliances, this third camera features “AI-powered computer vision cooking technology.” It can help check when food is done, adjust oven temperature, detect ingredients, and provide recipe suggestions.

Want to binge-watch TV shows and movies while you cook? You can do that, too: The Kitchen Hub lets you stream content on Netflix and bake, stir-fry, or sauté dishes at the same time. No more spilling tomato sauce or crumbs on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
For a seamless smart home setup, the next gen Kitchen Hub has Google Assistant voice controls and allows you to manage your GE smart home appliances from one place. Check room temperature, lighting, and more without leaving your kitchen.
The new Kitchen Hub, which doesn’t have pricing details yet, will be available later this year.
