Running is not the easiest workout: Your feet are slamming on the pavement, you have to pace yourself to avoid fatigue, and there is always the chance you might trip over a curb.

But, you can still try to run like the wind, thanks to NURVV Run, a coaching app and insoles that aim to help you increase speed and reduce the risk of injury. This cool tech, which debuted at CES 2020, can capture running from the point of action, use biomechanical principles to analyze the data, and provide exercise insights like a personal coach.

According to NURVV, running is measured from the feet. Thirty-two high-precision sensors are embedded into the insoles and they can capture data from your feet at 1,000 times per second, per sensor. You’ll receive important metrics focused on your running technique, including balance, cadence, and footstrike.

This doesn’t only happen after the workout though: Live in-run coaching, which includes personalized speed workouts, can help you beat a personal record and run at a target pace. So when you’re on the treadmill or road, responsive audio, visual, and haptic feedback detail your moves, so you can run faster and avoid falls.

Want to make improvements? NURVV Run also provides you with a personalized Running Health score. Based on several factors, including pronation and training load, this figure can help minimize injury risk by pointing out problem areas and giving you movement tips.

NURVV Run, which is available in six sizes and retails for $299.95, is available for pre-order on NURVV’s website.
