Moon Knight, also known as “The Fist of Khonshu,” is reportedly coming to Disney+ next year.

Industry insider Daniel Richtman tweeted that Marvel Studios will likely start production for the Moon Knight series in August. If Moon Knight’s production schedule goes smoothly, the show may debut on Disney+ in 2021.

Don’t expect the typical superhero plot for Moon Knight: Showrunner Jeremy Slater said the series will be “one hell of a ride,” in November 2019.

“While I won’t be able tell you anything in regards to story or casting, I *can* tell that you we’ve assembled a room full of brilliant writers who truly love this character, and we’re all hard at work crafting something special for you,” Slater wrote on Twitter. “So stick around and stay tuned. Moon Knight is on the way, and it’s going to be one hell of a ride.”

Moon Knight doesn’t have a set release date yet, but you can learn more about upcoming shows on Disney+’s website.
