Drivers face enough distractions on the road without adding 14 feet of pornography to the list.
Police in Auburn Hills, Mich., are searching for two suspects believed to have hacked an electronic billboard to play X-rated content.
Calls began pouring in around 11 p.m. on Saturday—about 10 minutes after the pair broke into billboard control center (a shed under the sign) and accessed the computer.
“I’ve never seen or heard of anything like this,” Auburn Hills Police Lt. Ryan Gagnon told the Detroit Free Press.

The vulgar videos played for 15 to 20 minutes—enough time for numerous motorists to share drive-by clips online. Officers contacted the billboard operator, Canadian-based Triple Properties, to shut down the broadcast.
Based on a security video shared by police, the suspects appear to be young white men, their faces partially obscured by glasses and hoods.
If found, they could face burglary charges for breaking and entering the shed (which is secured by a 6-foot fence), as well as 90 days in jail and/or a $500 fine for promoting pornography.
As reported by Vice (and confirmed by Redditors and porn aficionados), the video belongs to adult performers Xev Bellringer and Princess Leia.
“Yes, that is me,” Bellringer said of the big-screen blowjob. “I never thought this would happen with my content. I’m just happy that no one was injured.”
No known accidents occurred due to rubbernecking. But the skin flick was “a huge distraction to drivers and obviously obscene and inappropriate,” according to Gagnon.
According to regular passersby, the billboard previously displayed a Windows desktop.
